2000 – A remarkable vintage

This year, an exceptional climate meant winegrowers could let the different grape varieties ripen at their own pace and could stagger the harvests across their lands.

RED WINES

Wines with a high concentration of anthocyanins (the red pigments in grapes) and tannins that give them color, a velvety tannic structure, and harmonious character on the palate.

DRY WHITE WINES

These wines are full-bodied and fleshy. The Sauvignon, in particular, has a lovely complexity in the mouth, a sign of quality found in outstanding vintages.

SWEET WHITE WINES

Yields were low due to challenging harvest periods, but even the minute quantities led to outstanding results with well-structured wines.
