3 amazing cocktail recipes to make with our sweet white wines

How to spice things up for your next apéritif? We give you a few tips with a major twist for your next hangouts! The ingredient of the day? Our Bordeaux sweet white of course!

LE SWEET, for the ones who enjoy simplicity

Recipe (for 1 glass)

In a large glass on a little ice, pour 8 cl of sweet and fruity Bordeaux wine (type AOC Loupiac) with a zest of orange, clementine or lime. For even more originality we recommend kumquats or a slice of grapefruit or frozen pineapple. A sip of exotism : try it, you’ll love it!

To be served with fruit tartines with fourme d’ambert for a gourmet lunch. It’s just “chef kiss”.

LE SWEET’JITO, for a boost of freshness

Recipe (for 1 glass)

In a large glass on a little crushed ice, pour 8 cl of sweet and fruity Bordeaux wine (AOC Sainte Croix du Mont for example). Add 1 mint leaf and a lime slice. Finish with 2 cl of sparkling water.

To drink super fresh with a straw : the South of France in a glass.

To be served with chorizo madeleines, it sounds great but it’s even more wicked in real life!

LE BORDELAIS, for a vacation foretaste

Recipe (for 1 glass)

In a large wine glass on ice, pour 30 ml of Cadillac PDO wine, 30 ml of Aperol, 10 ml of pink grapefruit liqueur and 10 ml of squeezed lemon. Top up with tonic or sparkling water, depending on your taste. Decorate with half a slice of grapefruit and white grapes.

Serve with a nice cheese platter or Roquefort shortbreads.
