Miss Weather did not go easy on winegrowers that year. Relentless spring rain, intense mildew pressure, and constant readjustments in the vineyard set the tone. The 2024 vintage unfolded as a genuine challenge: a slowed vegetative cycle, capricious flowering, and several hail episodes that further reduced an already fragile potential. More than ever, the hand of the grower shaped the year. Yet from mid‑July to late August, the season found a new rhythm. Generous sunshine, moderate temperatures and limited rainfall allowed the berries to recover and develop harmoniously. Thanks to the precision of the growers, harvest took place at just the right pace, balancing ideal weather windows with impeccably judged picking dates. The result: despite an unusually small crop, both whites and reds immediately revealed an appealing profile — vibrant fruit, striking freshness and promising balance. A rare vintage, built with patience… and resilience. A year to enjoy young, certainly, though worthy of a little cellaring too.

RED
WINes
Early in their élevage, the Merlots present themselves as bright and aromatic. They don’t show the weight or power of the most recent benchmark vintages, but they are charming, approachable and immediately expressive. On the top terroirs of Libourne, they gain depth and suppleness, developing an extra layer of roundness and generous fruit.
Cabernet Sauvignon—when producers had the patience to wait for the early‑October calm—brings color, structure and backbone to the blends. On the great gravel soils, Cabernet delivered some of 2024’s most impressive successes.

DRY WHITE
WINEs
The absence of prolonged heatwaves, paired with well‑supplied soils, proved ideal for the aromatic potential of the white varieties.
Sauvignon Blanc is particularly expressive this year, with notes of lemon zest and white blossoms lifted by vibrant acidity. Sémillon—very much back in the spotlight in Bordeaux—proved once again what it can achieve.
On its preferred soils, the wines are fragrant, textured, and deliciously generous.

SWEET WHITE
WINES
The sweet wines of 2024 display striking purity. Early and widespread botrytis led to beautifully roasted, noble‑rot signatures.
Moderately concentrated, they are balanced, flavorful, precise—and refreshingly free of heaviness.
