15–25 years
A year of unpredictable weather, vineyard work reinvented during lockdown, unusually early growth at every stage of the vine cycle, and a perfectly timed Indian summer…
2020 challenged everyone who shaped it. Without question, this vintage will leave its mark on Bordeaux’s history. Yet despite the year’s complexities, summer ultimately brought ideal conditions for ripening, followed by a calm, assured harvest. Winemaking unfolded smoothly, allowing the true character of the year to shine through. Today, the 2020 vintage stands out for its remarkable balance — alcohol, acidity and tannins seamlessly aligned. These are wines built to age, with a promising future ahead.

RED
wines
Merlot harvest began in early September on the earliest-ripening plots, spreading more broadly around 20 September before moving on to Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. Picking wrapped up during the first week of October.
Early tastings point to a standout vintage: wines with beautiful balance, approachable in their youth yet offering strong ageing potential for cuvées built to last. A dual personality — immediately appealing, yet structured for the long term.

dry white
wines
The first secateurs were at work just after 15 August, with Sauvignon Gris and Sauvignon Blanc on the earliest terroirs.
Despite a hot summer, the grapes retained excellent natural acidity. At maturity, they showed sweetness, flavour and a preserved freshness.
The result: a clear, clean balance between weight and vivid tension.

sweet white
WINES
Botrytis cinerea arrived late, around mid‑September. The first selective, hand‑picked passes required sizeable teams working intensely over a short period — a demanding effort.
But it paid off: the sweet wines show fine balance, ripe fruit notes and a lovely freshness. However, drought conditions reduced yields, leading to notably smaller volumes in 2020.

Rosé and clairet
wines
Harvests for rosé began shortly after mid‑August, very early in the morning to preserve the grapes’ freshness. The vines delivered rosés driven by fruit and vibrancy, lifted by a bright, crisp acidity.
