History
of the estate
The Michel Lynch brand, created by Jean-Michel Cazes (owner of Château Lynch-Bages), pays tribute to Chevalier Michel Lynch, mayor of Pauillac in the 18th century and a pioneer of Bordeaux viticulture. The wines come from rigorously selected grapes (85% Sémillon, 10% Sauvignon, 5% Muscadelle) harvested at optimal ripeness within the Sauternes appellation area. Careful vinification highlights the richness and elegance of the terroir.
