Château la Caussade
A sweet wine from the Sainte-Croix-du-Mont appellation, mainly Sémillon, with a golden colour and a bouquet of acacia, linden, candied fruits, vanilla and exotic fruits. On the palate, it shows fine tension between sweetness, freshness and minerality, with a long, elegant finish. It pairs beautifully with foie gras, blue cheeses or desserts with tropical fruits.

History
of the estate
“The estate belongs to the Allo family, also associated with Château La Rame, and places strong emphasis on careful viticulture in the small Sainte-Croix-du-Mont AOC. The terroir is particularly conducive to noble rot, with favourable exposure and well-drained soils allowing excellent grape concentration. The style is crafted like a great sweet wine, with rigorous berry selection and controlled ageing. Overall, it offers outstanding value for money in this discreet yet high-potential appellation.”
