Château Grand Peyruchet
A sweet wine from the Loupiac appellation, mainly Sémillon (≈ 90%) with Sauvignon (~10%), made from botrytised grapes. It stands out with a beautiful golden-amber colour, aromas of candied fruits, stone fruits and a persistent finish of honey or beeswax. The terroir and ageing (barrels, acacia, underground vats) bring finesse and complexity.

History
of the estate
The estate covers about 30 hectares across the communes of Loupiac and Omet, with highly varied clay-sandy-limestone-gravel soils. It has been farmed for several generations by the Gillet-Queyrens family, who have begun conversion to organic farming and hold HVE3 certification. The vines benefit from morning mists and sunny afternoons in Entre-Deux-Mers, ideal conditions for the development of noble rot. Visitors discover a family setting, with a tasting room in blond stone and an old timber roof, for a truly authentic welcome.
