Château Franc Baudron – Mirande
“The ‘Mirande’ cuvée from Château Franc-Baudron in Montagne Saint-Émilion is a red wine made from equal parts Merlot and Cabernet Franc. It shows a concentrated texture with juicy black-fruit aromas, good density and a firm structure. According to some sources, the wine is vinified without added sulphites, with open-vat fermentation and foot treading to enhance fruit expression.”

History
of the estate
Heirs to a winegrowing history dating back to the early 20th century, Bernadette and Joseph Arbo took over the family vines in 1988 and left the cooperative. They now farm 30 hectares in Francs Côtes de Bordeaux (Godard Bellevue Puyanché) and 10 hectares in Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux (Moulins de Coussillon), producing wines that are often highly rated.
