A key partner for wine tourism
The Bordeaux Wine School is an active participant and a key partner for wine tourism.
Tourist Office Guides trained by the Bordeaux Wine School
The Bordeaux Wine School trains Guides from the Bordeaux Tourist Information Office to ensure that visitors to the city and region are given a wellinformed visit of the Bordeaux winegrowing area. At present, 15 guides trained by the Bordeaux Wine School pass on their knowledge to tourists.
Summer workshops (in French and English)
Since 2006, in partnership with the Bordeaux Tourist Information Office, during the summer daily, the Bordeaux Wine School presents 2-hour workshops to give an introduction to Bordeaux wines. The price of this initiation session is 25 Euros per person.
Open days
Since 2007, the Bordeaux Wine School has taken part in “Open Days” organized throughout the wine region by various appellations. These 30-minute tasting workshops are provided free of charge.
