5000 wines coming from 38 different countries will be tasted and rate by a jury of 800 professionals and consumers.
About 50 winemakers open their doors during 2 days. People will be able to discover the 2013 millesime. Also, discover the charm and the gastronomy of Médoc.

More than 12,000 visitors will gather in the splendid Citadelle de Blaye to taste the best wines from the 80 Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux vineyards.
Festivites include fun workshops to sharpen your knowledge of wine aromas, along with demonstrations and musical entertainment.
Located in the exquisite setting of the Gallo-Roman villa of Saint-Romain,you can sample over 24 sweet wine appellations from all over France, along with entertainment and activities for all ages!

Many châteaux are open 10 a.m.-7 p.m. with special activities scheduled, ranging from vineyard and winery tours to tasting sessions of Côtes de Bourg wines as well as local selections
Speakers, philosophers, scientists, architects, geographers and artists suggest new avenues of thought and field questions from the public during twenty presentations, meetings, debates and workshops on the subject of freedom.
The highlight of this event is Saturday’s tasting session, giving fans a chance to sample two vintages of more than 100 wines in the company of their growers, all while enjoying a unique and breathtaking view of the monuments of Bordeaux – listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Different circuits of 20, 30, 35, 50, 60 or 80km go through the vineyards and the properties of Margaux, Haut-Medoc, Moulis and Listrac, Bordeaux.
During the weekend, you can choose any of the activities, including animation, wine tasting, and even concerts.
After crossing the vineyards and cellars of the most famous names in sweet wines, participants and spectators will gather on the beautiful Château Filhot grounds to learn about the region and its wines, guided by the winemakers.

The schedule includes the biggest classic car rally, themed tours, tastings, various workshops, exhibitions, vintage car outings, and the exploration of many fascinating historic sites.
On the day’s agenda: walking tours, mountain biking, a giant picnic, a gourmet foods market, tastings and sales of the appellation’s wines... there’s something for everyone! The Puyguéraud château even hosts a contest to win your weight in wine!
Created in 1884, Lalande de Pomerol is one of the oldest winemaker federations. The programme of the weekend will be available on the website on May 1st.
The city's aldermen (jurats) will walk through the medieval city to the monolithic church, where international wine personalities will swear their loyalty to the wines of Saint-Emilion. In late afternoon, the Jurade climbs up the Tour du Roy and pronounces its judgment of the new wine
The schedule includes an open-sky road wine to discover, taste and share, walks in the vineyards where you will see some of the most beautiful castles in the world, art exhibits, concerts, a giant "sound and image" show and a wonderful fireworks display every night!
Founded in 2006 by saxophonist Jean-Jacques Quesada, “Jazz and Wine” is an event held June through August that combines the best jazz with the most prestigious wine estates in Bordeaux.
Twinned with the Trail de Salers, the Trail des Côtes de Bourg invites all runners to stretch their legs in a unique setting on one of two selected routes: 13 km and, for sturdier striders, 30 km!
Musical Grands Crus will also take place at the Château de l’Angelus on July 24. This is an opportunity to experience many musical emotions in the renowned environment, often closed to the public. The season starts on July 15 with a recital for two pianos at Château d'Agassac.
This year is held under the patronage of Mstislav Rostropovich - Honorary President of Ad Vitam Aeternam around the theme “Rhapsody in Red and White.”
